It’s been 3 months since I did my [second] BC and I’ve been living in wash & go heaven!! Lol
Within the 3 months I’ve locked down my regimen alongside the products that work best for my hair.
I generally wash my hair between 1 and 3 times a week (as of recently it’s been only once because I don’t want to risk going outside with my hair wet but in July and August when I first cut my hair, I would wash it 2-3 times per week) using Suave Naturals Daily Clarifying Shampoo and Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze Conditioner. I looooove these products!! More specifically this conditioner leaves my hair feeling SUPER soft.
After I get out the shower, I wrap a cotton t-shirt over my head allowing it to dry and to help retain moisture. Then I use my handy dandy spray bottle that contains a good squeeze of leave-in conditioner (I use either Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk or Kinky Curly Knot Today), a few drops of either Cream of Nature Argan Oil or Carol’s Daughter Tui Oil, and water and spray, spray, then spray some more until my hair is fairly damp.
Following this I use a product I now SWEAR by – Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Ironically, prior to cutting my hair I never understood the hype around the Curl Enhancing Smoothie; it never did anything for my hair. But NOW, I definitely SEE the difference it makes. I think I wasn’t using it properly before. I would put it on my hair but not rake it through.
Lastly, I make sure my curls stay permanent by using Argan Oil Eco Styler Gel. Once that is in, my hair is complete!! =)
I posted a video on my YT Channel that shows the actual process of me using all of these products. I hope you enjoy!! =)
